On Saturday, February 25th, Rob's Guitar School student Zoe Saldana, age 13, recorded a song that she recorded at Rob's Guitar School music studio. Not only did she write her own song, but she performed the vocals, lead guitar and rhythm guitar on the song. The song, titled "Needed" has serious meaning to it and speaks to how kids can have challenges searching for their own path as they grow older. Great stuff!
Zoe also plays her first recorded guitar solos on the piece showing off her knowledge of the various pentatonic scale shapes with some nice bluesy phrasing to boot.
Zoe has been learning guitar at Rob's Guitar School for 3 1/2 years and we couldn't be more proud of her.
