Have you always wanted to learn guitar but didn't want to commit to lessons? Is that guitar that's been sitting in the case in the corner for years getting lonely?On Saturday, September 6th from 1 PM - 4 PM, the Rob Compagna Guitar School will be hosting a Beginner Guitar Workshop for ages 13 and up.
Course Objective: To teach brand new guitar students the parts of the guitar, how to play basic notes and chords, how to read guitar tablature and chord sheets, learn to tune the guitar, and play simple melodies and songs.
What Students Will Learn: By the end of the 3 hour guitar workshop students will be able to play a simple melody and chords on the guitar, understand how to read basic tablature, and know whether continuing on with guitar lessons is for them.
Ideal Student: This class is ideal for those people (ages 13 and up) who want to test the waters and see if playing the guitar is really for them.

- 3 hours of expert hands-on guitar instruction designed for beginners
