Groton Community Dinner was a Blast!
June 26, 2015 Groton, MA - We'd like to send a shout out to our students who performed at the Groton Community Dinner on Friday, June 26th: Zack Harrison, Andrew Egan, Zoe Saldana, Matt Egan, Julie Maillet, Trent Clancy and Cecilia Cronin.
They performed a number of rousing renditions of current and classic songs during their performance. Zack Harrison performed a couple of his country favorites backed by the lead guitar solos of Julie Maillet and Zoe Saldana. Members of our guitar school's Guitar Squad (Matt Egan and Zoe Saldana) performed You Shook Me All Night Long by AC/DC and Holiday by Green Day (accompanied by Julie Maillet).
Group ensemble performances included a number of Beatles favorites such as We Can Work It Out, Michelle, Help!, and Yellow Submarine. Plus, chief instructor Rob Compagna also played Eruption by Van Halen.
Closing out the night, the whole group played the Star Spangled Banner.
